Feeling a bit wimpy for having fled the Canberra smoke and staying up on the coast again. Hadn’t felt like exercise before today (think I was still feeling the effects of Monday’s silly Smokey run). Decided parkrun again was best option for today and was surprised to start relatively well, feeling much better running than Christmas Day. Suddenly got all wheezy on The uphill to the second turn. Walked for a bit but struggled to recover, did a few jogs back to the surf club and pulled out there as we had a deadline and I was not improving. Will have a couple more days break from running.

Tried to get out before smoke was bad but failed. Started out well, but as soon as I crossed Caswell ddr the smoke was a lot thicker. I turned back from my planned run up the Black Mtn single track and headed directly home but still did the rest as jog walk as started wheezing a bit.
