Run 59:41 [3] 8.64 km (6:54 / km) +243m 6:03 / km
shoes: Cascadia

An early morning scheduling error followed by a busy day meant I did not make it out yesterday. Great to finally make it today, plus it was refreshingly cool!

Really enjoyed this but unfortunately pulled something in right ankle just coming out onto Caswell Dr so walked from there. Tried to run again once I'd crossed the bridge but it still wan't right so left it at that. Would have liked to go over an hour, maybe next time.

Managed to run mostly on single track and didn't;t get lost - a first for everything! Even took a dodgy track down the bottom of Aranda Hill to get off the fire trail. Had to use imagination to follow it a couple of times, but made it out again with no drama.

Walk 28:26 [3] 2.02 km (14:03 / km) +29m 13:07 / km

Not quite as far as I’d hoped we’d go, but to was hot and getting late. Carried about 2/3 of walkingweight. It was ok, but not really very rugged :)

Cycling 20:52 [3] 9.4 km (27.0 kph) +63m
shoes: Sidi Road

To work. A bit slower without the raging tailwind we've had of late.

Cycling 23:31 [3] 7.82 km (20.0 kph) +136m
shoes: Sidi Road

Home in the heat. Really needed some water on the way up Caswell. Seemed to feel the headwind today even though it was nowhere near as strong as least few weeks. Deferred leaving by 45 min as was 38 when I started to pack up! 37 and dropping when I left.

Orienteering 24:51 [3] 3.59 km (6:55 / km) +61m 6:23 / km
shoes: VJ Irock 2

A bit hot and not running well. Ankles are very weak, I popped both of them - once each. Not really a roll or twist, just seemed to pop out and back again. Only lost a bit of time on 5, was in the wrong bit of gap between thickets and could not spot the control. A couple of other time losses getting stuck in bushes (9, 12 and 13) and being tired. Looking now, maybe going over the top of the water tank to 8 was a better option.
