Ash (Kooragang) Island, my first time here. An experience! Very wet ride, poor route choice, not the most pleasant of experiences but probably worth going. I can't believe I made it to the end of one puddle (swamp) I rode through. It was thigh deep while on my bike, I think the only thing that kept me driving the bike forwards was the fear of have to stand up and put my foot on the bottom... Did not notice any of the rain as the water coming from the ground was more. The smell of rotting vegetation and/or manure was everywhere but the mozzies were nowhere near as bad as they could have been...

Lucky to stop and navigate my bike around Baxter and still make the finish on time :)

With Paula, great afternoon for a run. Rolled ankle 2/3 way back so was a bit stop/start from there. Good to run with someone else.
