Run 1:40:00 [3] 14.2 km (7:03 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 13

Home to Tambourine Bay. Ran to Tracy's and then followed her & Malin - across the other side of the river, via quite a few summer series and night series maps to a playground where we met Eoin, Paul and the kids. A few sections of tough going & I doubt I could repeat the route again without help. Some very nice sections along the way!

Took advantage of a dry spell.
Now to get backlog of running gear washed and dry before I need it again.

Orienteering 49:02 [3] 8.75 km (5:36 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 13

Another summer series shocker. Middle section was OK after a very poor start and the wheels fell off at the end.

Would not have been late if I had not added a control onto the start - that took me over 4 minutes and being annoyed about that I proceeded to lose another 90 sec looking for the next control.

About 2/3 of the way through I made a mistake and went to a 10pt control rather than 20pt and then realised that with the extra distance there I was running short of time to continue on my planned route. Cut a bit off, should have cut more, lost time on a 10pt control (2 minutes!) and ended up 4 minutes and 2 seconds late.

Run 40:00 [3] 6.5 km (6:09 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 13

Pretty tired and slow today. Got attacked by a bird, not sure what it was, it may have been a wattle bird but looked smaller & I'm not sure they have them here. I had thought there was only really 1 vicious wattle bird in the country - the one stationed at the end of Stubbs Terrace.
