Run 57:00 [3] 9.2 km (6:12 / km) +200m 5:35 / km
shoes: Kayano 16 Purple

Shoes still wet from yesterday and surprisingly that didn't matter as the tracks were even deeper under water today. Spent most of the time on the road to avoid a complete splash-fest.
Went across the river up to the cemetery and back via the road, back across the river and along the riverside road to join up with the great north path to come back home. Down & up Grosvenor.

Run 1:35:00 [3] 14.0 km (6:47 / km) +300m 6:08 / km
ahr:149 max:170 shoes: Kayano 16 Purple

With Tracy and her neighbour Anthea for the first bit. Lane Cove NP. Was supposed to meet them at the weir but it was flooded so added a little bit extra running around to the other side. A good long run and very enjoyable with the help of company - I probably would have bailed on my own. Crossed a creek and sank up to my knees, ran through a waterfall, through lots of thick oozy slippy mud, long wet grass, etc. etc. Had to walk up most of the hill home at the end as the track was pretty much under water and I was tired.

Run 39:30 [3] 6.5 km (6:05 / km) +100m 5:39 / km
shoes: Kayano 16 Purple

Took the day off again yesterday and still no improvement so got a calf massage last night. Worked well enough to get out again today but did not attempt intervals. Down to the National Park along the NE shore up to Great North Walk Trail and return. This might be a good 40min loop I think. Just need to master the steps once you get onto the walk trail...
Legs much better, felt less sluggish but still running slowly.

Orienteering (Summer Series) 43:30 [3] 6.3 km (6:54 / km)
ahr:157 max:172 shoes: Kayano 16 Purple

I'm sure I'm feeling better running but this pace doesn't show it - was going at pram pushing pace again (without the pram)! Got more points this week and glad to be free of the pram as it would have been almost impossible otherwise. Quite a few mistakes especially at the start and some of the usual dithering, mind changing, time wasting going on... O Track of Cath vs Eoin is a comedy show.
Need to maybe do some hill reps as that is where I am failing on every run at the moment.

Orienteering 22:43 [3] 3.8 km (5:59 / km)
shoes: DS Racer

My Sydney Sprint career just took a nose dive from about sea level. Today was not a good one for me - must remember to READ the map next time... At least I got some bonus training time on my log. Didn't feel too dismal running for a change, maybe that was part of the problem.
