Again towing Aoife this time as far as Emu Point and back, a bit worked up to start with until we worked out what "I don't want Daddy" meant and swapped the toys around. Hard work but seemed to settle in to a pace after a while. Enjoyed it despite short distance - path through the Peppermint trees helps :)

Bibblmun Track from Sand Patch Rd to Little Cove. Intended to rest today before another run up the hill tomorrow but decided Eoin & Aoife needed to admire "my" windfarm so drove out to Sand Patch & got him to pick me up later. Very glad I did this as it was a spectacular run along the coast covered in wildflowers for the first part. A slog in the middle down a boggy sand track then through lovely peppermints and single track again at the end. Left glute especially very sore and tired at the end.

Not quite up Mt Clarence but around Mt Adelaide, up to the saddle and part way around again before coming back down. Love running here despite the hard work. Sore again but feeling as though some power is returning.

Heritage (?) Loop at Two Peoples Bay. I had to do all the carrying as apparently someone else was deemed "too slow!". An incredibly beautiful spot but somehow slightly marred by the 20 or so 4 wheel drives parked on the pristine beach denoted as a "car free zone".

Hard work today, ran along the bike path from Middleton Beach northwards in the heat of the day (not much in Albany but it was warm) while the early morning riders were napping. Intended to do 6.5 the same as the morning's run but on the way back made a pact that I would make it to 5 before walking home. First time I've run on consecutive days for many a month. Very sore and tight everywhere.
A beautiful running path.

Towing Aoife is getting a lot harder. Rode out to meet the serious cyclists. Great bike path from Middleton Beach towards Emu Point.

Convinced Richard he needed to loosen up after a long drive so we ran up Mt Clarence in Albany. Very hard work but after dropping off the back to start with I managed to find a good rhythm to make it to the top OK. Got very tired after 40 min or so and had a bit of a walk up the last hill on the way home. Tried to catch Richard on the downhill but he was having none of it. Enjoyable run but VERY hard work.
