Warm up and an failed attempt at warm down

Run race 47:59 [4] 10.07 km (4:46 / km)

Would have liked a faster time, but that was all the energy I had.
Equal PB, wish I'd known what it was this morning.

Cycling 1:30:00 [3] 44.0 km (29.3 kph)
shoes: Sidi Road

No faster than last week, but it was pretty windy & a bit interrupted by about every traffic light possible. Most severe interruption was North Freo boom gates that had gotten stuck closed after some stupid cyclist rode through as they were coming down & got his wheel caught. He'd managed to get free & continue on his way, but the gate was stuck shut. Needless to say, the truckies waiting patiently for them to open were really enamoured with cyclists by the time I rocked up & asked what was going on.

Run 30:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)

Run 40:00 [3] 6.5 km (6:09 / km)
shoes: New Kayano 14 - Pink

A real struggle today. Still, I had to do the DNA tower twice just so I could practice accidentally running into Boot Camp people.

Run 57:00 [3] 10.4 km (5:29 / km)
shoes: New Kayano 14 - Pink

Kings Park with Richard. A struggle to keep ticking over today, but a fairly good run in the end. Was pleased Richard didn't make it to the top of the DNA tower too much ahead of me. A bit disappointed that Rob Jessop seems to be his new role model & we didn't get to stop for a recovery/rest at the top! Had a bit of a walk up to a water fountain after Richard headed home, ran better again after that. Had to sprint Aoife to the gate at the end. I think I won.

Run intervals 50:00 [4] 8.6 km (5:49 / km)
shoes: New Kayano 14 - Pink

Well something to improve on if absolutely nothing else. I tried Rosalie Park rather than having to drive all the way to McGillivray & hope that the spongy grass had something to do with the times.

A bit warm, glad I got up early.

Run 40:00 [3] 6.5 km (6:09 / km)
shoes: New Kayano 14 - Pink

Decided it was a bit hot so Aoife might prefer a swim than playing in Kings Park, so ran from Nedlands Foreshore - which made it much more pleasant for me too.
The plan backfired slightly in that Aoife was not interested in the river. The only thing that got her in the water in the end was a lot of enticing and the prospect of swimming with jelly fish!
