Ride around model map of accommodation complex. Rode towards the other map but ran out of time - it had taken too long to get our accommodation sorted for me to be in a good mood for this ride.

Sprint style course, relay leg 4. Had to outsprint an Austrian, she got to the finish first but I got the moral victory as she didn't use the marked route :) I really should retire on this ride it was pretty good.

"Sprint" course from Polish 6 days (finished part way to 9). Quite happy with this ride, did it with Darvo who made me articulate what I was doing - therefore thought through things properly and rode at a slower, but good, pace that meant I could read the map and think clearly the whole way through.

3 exercises. the first was route choice comparison with a partner (thanks Thor) so we did a fair bit of cross country testing things out - seems a bit pot luck most times. Then a couple of courses with one very long leg. Took it fairly easy and was happy with myself. Taking the pressure off stops the mistakes - need to work out how to go faster without errors.

2 short courses. The first I took slowly and was fairly happy with my ride. Everyone caught me but that was Ok as I was trying to do my own thing at a good pace & didn't let them distract me.
The second I fell back into usual bad habits and was concentrating on what the others were doing rather than myself. Lost a lot of time on 1 then also on 2. This is becoming habitual.

Mass start course with Mel & Jen. Once again messed up 1 big time & then 2 trying to make up for it. Lucky they waited the 6 hours necessary for me to catch up at 4. Settled in after that & did 5 onwards pretty well. One more mistake on 10 that I should not have made.
