Cycling 50:00 [2] 25.0 km (30.0 kph)
ahr:119 max:160 shoes: Sidi Road

First day of Womens' Tri course, pretty easy day with a (supposed to be) 6km time trial for seeding purposes. The course was a bit windy and had a few inclines and the GPS measured it at 4.2km, time 8:28. I think I might make it into the fast group.
PS still very tired and slow from Thursday's effort.

Run 1:39:00 [3] 15.1 km (6:33 / km) +300m 5:58 / km
shoes: Kayano 13 - Orange

OK, no way jose was I intending to run anything like as far as this. From my turn-around point I was estimating 8km, maybe stretching to 9 by meandering a bit on the way back. With about 3km to go, I thought I'd take a different track to the boring one that I'd come down on, and I was secretly hoping that it was a bit of a short-cut too. The only problem was, I was on the wrong side of the Margaret River and it took another 30 min to dawn on me that I had to cross the river or else end up in the ocean... Spent a while being a gumby trying to work out how to use my GPS to navigate by (its different to the old one). Ended up crossing the river by a log and now looking at the aerial photo lucky I did it there because the river turned NW again just downstream. Managed to fluke making all the right choices on which roads and turns to make once I finally reached bitumen (never been so happy to see the stuff in my whole life).

Eoin finally found me and give me a lift home for the last 50m. Lucky Aoife had been in a good mood, or else Eoin had the sense not to tell me the truth.

Run 45:00 [3] 7.75 km (5:48 / km) +150m 5:18 / km
weight:62.8kg shoes: Kayano 13 - Orange

A hilly run in Reabold and quite early in the afternoon. I was hoping to catch some sea breeze, but it was still nowhere to be found (it actually go hotter as I was running). Felt OK, I'm not running much faster without the pram, but I think this is because I'm doing more hills and/or sand when its just me.

Swim 30:00 [3] 1.1 km (27:16 / km)
weight:62.8kg

Felt better than Friday.

Orienteering 32:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:24 / km) +100m 5:49 / km
shoes: Kayano 13 - Orange

Quite steep and hard to read the map in places so I ended up doing a bit of walking. Legs felt quite slow.
