shoes: Silva ProLite

Fairly happy with the overall pace and the result (beat all the other crippled old ladies). I was able to run strongly on the downhill sections and keep a reasonable pace on flats. However, really struggled on any type of incline. Also a little disappionted in my orienteering, poor fine navigation on 2 controls, losing concentration on another and completely rushing the last leg and missing the prime route choice which cost me some time. Need to remember to take the time to read the map!

Felt very below par today - its like starting to learn to run all over again. The weekend took a lot more out of me than I thought - stabilising muscles obviously exhausted!
Thanks again to Nicole for fabulous baby sitting duties - before work and everything.
