Run/Hike 1:00:00 [2]

Setting out two trek controls with K and Chris E. Trails and a dry riverbed. I wanted to run some more, but we had to get to TA 2 (only to wait, oh well). The Belknaps are awesome, and I think the teams have figured that out after this race!! Estimated time for the top team on the trek section was 7 hours, (I'm not sure if that was taking darkness into consideration) but it ended up taking the winning team (not fastest split) 11 hours!!

Practice 2 - this time my quads felt like they were going to fall right off! By the end of the practice, I could barely run I was so tired. And sprinting and jumping for high tosses was completely out of the question!

We've been playing 7 on 7 (this is frisbee I'm talking about, in case anyone doesn' tknow the "Ultimate" term.) And I've found that I've taken up the end-zone runs, since I seem to be able to run faster (and not handle the frisbee as well) as others on the team. So it turns out to be a lot of running! Back and forth...back and forth... and it's so much more than indoor soccer, since it's on a field that's just slightly shorter than a regular soccer field.
Good stuff!

First practice with "Enough Monkey's" (Boris should appreciate that name) in Norwich, VT. I am certainly NOT in sprinting shape! My hamstrings were so sore the next few days!
