Jukola, great team effort ending in a solid 4th place!

I had the first leg with far from a solid start, missing some 3-4 min on the first control. Thought I had full control when I left the big powerline. Saw the big marsh under the line and was just going around it to my control, but was careless with the direction, passed one of the other gaffels but didn't realize that it was one of the gaffels since I didn't see anyone punch there. Continued and thought I saw the noose just left of the control but it was another height. Guessed that I was to far south (but still thought I was along the height close to the control) and went back. Ended up in the other gaffel, realized that I was too far down in the slope and went up and could relocalize.

After that it was just to push hard along the "meat-trail", some green areas where it was hard to pass people. Body felt good and had a really good speed. Managed to pick the other gaffeled controls with out problem where many other teams made huge misstakes. Great feeling in the end where I started to recognize teams and runners again and I felt that I must be close to the front.

10k race in Västerås. A little too tough start for my current shape so the second half got really tough. Alone from about 1.5k, but had a guy 10-20s behind me most of the race so could never relax. 2nd group did a wrong turn just before 4k and cut short 400m so had som guys to hunt down again. Passed the "leader" around 7k just before heading out in two tough kms in headwind.. Quite satisfied anyway with my current shape in mind, quite hilly and windy course.
