So the snow has now come again, cancelling (for me at least) ideas of running night orienteering or terrain loops, at least for the moment. Accurate transcript of discussion with coach about training today. "I know you don't want to run on the treadmill and you will make all sorts of excuses for why it is ok to run this session on the bikepath somewhere but you are to do this on the treadmill, it is not ok to run outside, the weather is terrible, run inside, just do it." "But I've never run an interval session on the treadmill" "Good, there is a first time for everything"
#Woke to the surprising sight of no snow, so ditched the planned treadmill and ran to work. I thought this route was longer so ended up running extra near work. I always find adding distance on at the end of a run to be harder so next time I need to get the extra distance done maybe on Bygdøy.
