Jukola leg 6
Dodgy start through some flat vague green, probably took it a fraction too carefully and navigated too much, maybe should have trusted my compass and decided to pick myself up. Anyway, landed exactly where I wanted on the otherside and picked by control without too much issue. Got a bit more into the rhythm of the race through 2 and 3, then had trouble on 4 with a lack of confidence. On the way 5 spotted Kalevan and Lidingö about 25 seconds in front.

Found 5 and 6 fine then paralleled and 7 and despite seeing them coming out the control ignored them and continued to make my mistake. Stressed myself a bit and then missed 8, getting caught by Frol.

Followed Frol for a bit to calm myself down and get back into the race, pace seemed pretty good and I was even able to cheer up and lead for a bit. We split up on some forking later and I was able to spot, and then pass Malungs for a bit, and then see them in front again after my forking.

Lost a bit again on two controls in a row, but was able to see Malungs a bit in front and then Frol pretty close. Caught Frol and was able to lead to then, but possibly losing a bit more time on the long leg back towards the arena.

Team ended up 7th. A result we are pleased with, but not happy with. Having been right up with the lead after 3 legs we all lost a little bit too much time on the next 4 legs, but no disasters allowed us into the top 10
