Orienteering 2:20:00 [3] 24.0 km (5:50 / km)

Culcin classic +2km warm up and down.

Very good race but didn't take enough food with me or went off too fast or whatever and really hit the wall about 2 thirds round. Like no energy whatsoever.

Friday Mar 20, 2009 #

Orienteering 45:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:38 / km)

Contour only map of inshriach which was gooooorrrgeous.

Thursday Mar 19, 2009 #

Orienteering 1:20:00 [3] 12.0 km (6:40 / km)

Couldn't get into the area atall. Had no idea what the mapper was doing with the vegetation, the contours. Dispite the excuses the controls were all right and I probably would have had no problems if my compass was good.

Note

Massive game of ultimate frisbee which was hard but not training.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (7:30 / km)

Darnoway. Felt ok but a bit sluggish after travelling.

Orienteering 45:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:38 / km)

Night training with Speaky and Dougy. Got a bit confused staring as a little mass start, and even more confused without the flags.

Tuesday Mar 17, 2009 #

Running intervals 50:00 [4] 8.0 km (6:15 / km)

Terrible short warm up and the 2 x 4 x 2min runs. Taking them alternately fast and "slow". 700m in the fast ones and 600m in the slow ones. Sorta more 1500/3000 pace split.

Felt a bit guilty for not doing anything on the weekend but it means I was feeling good tonight and able to push it a bit and hopefully will get another good weeks training this week.
