Glyn-Neath 5 mile race.

2 seconds slower than three years ago but much more windy on the way out. Led it out the whole way apart from in the 4th km where second place came past and I sat in for a bit. I thought tactics might come into play and he'd been sitting on me for 3km, so I stayed behind a bit even when he started to slow down. I then went for it to try to get the gap at about 4km and pulled out quite a good lead by the end. Running well on the second 4km even though it is mainly uphill.

Right until I was about to leave work I had planned to carry on training as normal but just avoiding terrain, however I thought this might be stupid so I changed plan and took a rest instead. Back tonight.

Felt fine, nice controlled effort.
