The walk I meant to do yesterday. I was hoping to go longer but some poor planning left me with not enough time.

Had another one of those ocular migraines about 10 minutes into the walk. This one was quite small and didn't have the woozy feeling like the others did and cleared up after about 5 minutes. I haven't had one since I stopped drinking those instant breakfasts a couple years ago, but I was icing a cake this morning - Scott's 36th birthday! - and ate a good bit of the stuff as I made different colors and was swapping them in and out of the decorating thingie. I'm wondering if it was the sugar overload that did it. Will have to see if I have another one.

My workout space is in my garage and I had the garage door up to get a bit of a breeze and a stupid deer fly came in and bit me on the ankle.

A walk around the neighborhood. I got sidetracked today - first with some on-line tutoring, then following the WOC middle races, so I got out later than I had planned. The weather did not cooperate: first it was sunny, then drizzly, then sunny, then raining, then cleared up, then really windy and grey and then finally thunder and lightning and full on pouring. Glad I at least started when it was nice out since if I had waited another 15 minutes I never would have gone.

The rhododendrons are blooming and they're really pretty right now. It's interesting that what I'll call "cultivated" rhododendron bloomed about 6 weeks ago but the "wild" rhododendron are just blooming now. The former are usually varying shades of pink; the latter mostly white.

I also forgot to stop my watch right when I got home. And I had an encounter with some dogs that wouldn't listen to their owner and leave me alone.
