I must have landed on my arm a bit harder than I realized when I fell on Friday as my shoulder is stiff and sore. I was thinking of going to a class at the gym this morning but I think I better give it another day or two.

Really didn't want to get out and do anything today. I finally convinced myself that if I went down to the drive and did some jogging for a mile that wouldn't be so bad, so that's what I did. Funny how that seemed like it would be easier than just hiking the meadow loop.
My lower calves are really, really tight. I haven't done the heel drops/raises for about two weeks what with traveling and all. Not sure if they're helping with anything else but they do give a good stretch so I will start doing those again.

Very slow meadow loop. The trail was surprisingly icy in several spots and I took one major spill before realizing it. Mud caked everywhere in my knee brace, sleeves, front of my jacket and so on. Looked like just mud so I was truckin' along, but there was some ice underneath and down I went. Was a little more careful after that and found lots more icy patches. Didn't think I would need my spikes - it's mid-fifties and sunny out!
Class at the gym. Was thinking this was going to be really hard but there was a sub and she did not really do a lot with legs so I survived reasonably well.
