hiking 1 [3]

Hmm...Garmin won't import. I was also having trouble logging in. Perhaps it will work later.

Guess I was too happy to go fast today although I seemed to be working harder by a lot. I suppose that was partly the snow cover.

Round 1 of shoveling.

Traipse through the meadow and back with Sandy on snowshoes. Got pretty sweaty even in that short time.

And another round of shoveling. Very windy out - probably all the shoveling I've done will be undone by morning.

Booked it around the meadow loop. Not sure why I was moving more quickly today - perfect weather certainly helped. It was just below freezing so my icebugs were gripping the snow perfectly and it was sunny and not nearly as cold as the last two outside efforts anyway so maybe that was it. Or, it could have been because I was mulling over a bunch of stuff that was irritating me and that spurred me on. :)

basement workout

Dennis got me a step for Christmas. It works a lot better than the stool I was using and it's long enough to also lay on and do a few new things.

Happy New Year 2018 orienteering course on the Lehigh University campus with Karl and Sandy. There were some unexpected issues (most notably the N where there was some new housing not on the map I was using) but not too bad. Great way to start the new year.
