strength & stretching 45:00 [3]

Did a Kelly type workout in my basement after a couple hours of weeding and hacking back the flower beds.

My ankle is pretty much back to normal and my knee is back to where it was a few months ago. So am feeling optimistic about hiking this week but don't think I'm ready to try any jogging yet.

Session with Kelly.

Good thing I didn't join the pull-up competition. Could barely finish the third set of mini fake pull-ups - just pulling my chest up to the bar with my body at about 45 degrees and my feet on the floor.

Ankle still a bit swollen but definitely improving. Probably stay off it another day or two.

Went down to the drive instead of the regular meadow loop - not sure why, but it's what I felt like doing so that's what I did. Stopped and picked a whole bunch of blackberries. Will try to remember to take a container and go again later this week. The other dip in the graph is where a large tree is down across the drive and climbing over it wasn't trivial. But I saw a crew in a little cart with tools just past it so I'm guessing it will be cleared soon. Another tree was down a little before it but that must have happened two nights ago since that one already had a path cut through it. The Friends of the Wissahickon are really amazing about cleaning up the trails after storms.

Intended to do this yesterday. It's been a bit of a struggle to get back on top of things since I fell but getting there.
