And the last of the controls are now streamered at the Water Gap. Visited some absolutely beautiful sections of forest that I had never been in before. I do hope some people take the routes that I did between some controls.

Was a little worried that a second day was going to be brutal since I felt really beat last night but I actually felt really good today. It probably helped that the weather was absolutely gorgeous and that I had a really nice visit with Dennis and Emily on my way up.

Another 10 controls streamered. Took several side trips to check out some waterfalls and to try and discover the extent of some downed trees. Had to backtrack since I just couldn't find a way through at one point. Also spent about 20 minutes at one control just trying to find a place where the stake would go in the ground. A lot of the hill tops are 2-3 inches of dirt on top of solid rock it seems. Ended up moving several controls today - too much green briar in one place just made it unpleasant, the water features were just not looking right in another, the swamp had grown significantly in a third, and so on. Made for slower going than usual.

Indian loop with Sandy. No rain and not very muddy either.

Had another great PT appointment this morning to work on my shoulder again, all traceable back to tightness in my upper back. She was very good at finding exactly where to dig in a finger to make me nearly scream. More exercises to add to the ones I'm already doing.

Will be so very happy in a few weeks when all the craziness at work is over.
