I have managed to pick up a sore throat. Don't feel sick at all, but my throat is raw. Hopefully it's just some sort of allergy but annoying to get something right before leaving for Scotland.
Emily has finished her last chemo treatment and is feeling pretty good. Now it's just a matter of waiting a few weeks to find out what the scans say. Unfortunately, she's not feeling up for traveling yet (still just tires too easily) so only Scott and Katie will join me in Scotland after the races instead of both boys. This just means I'll have to take another vacation some time with Emily and Dennis!

Another visit to the Water Gap. Talked with folks at PEEC to see if I could work something out for a 6 hour rogaine next spring where they took care of food and let us use their facilities. Not sure it will work, but we'll see.
And then a tromp through the woods looking at potential control sites. Finally saw Indian Ladders.

Did the hill repeat loop with Sandy but then tacked on a run through the meadow. We ran the drive and then four uphill sections. Also dunked my head under the sprinklers at the playground.

Hike in the Wiss. with Sandy. Can tell the weather is about to break, but still quite humid for this. Knees pretty good and I stopped the new brace from squeaking (which Sandy said she wasn't noticing but I think she was just being polite - it was loud!).

Morning hike in the Wissahickon. Just trying to do something so that I wasn't a total couch potato for the day. Knees not the best but I've figured out ways to make it work.
