Decent race but one error for about 4 minutes and then a smaller one for a minute or two. Just got tired and didn't pay attention and stayed too high both times. Figured it out reasonably quickly but there really wasn't any excuse for either error - there was plenty to use to be more precise in the navigation.
Note
I like how my finish chute run-ins are always marked as errors with time lost.
Much better today. Still made several errors - mostly fairly small, but one of a few minutes near the end. I deliberately tried to take a safe route because I could tell I was getting tired, but I ended up botching that a bit and in retrospect I would have been fine just running on a compass bearing.
Hoo boy - I have not messed up a control like that in several years. I must have been within 20 meters of the thing several times but just wasn't focusing enough to read the ditches. Took 23 minutes on a 4 or 5 minute leg. Even when I tried to be really careful, I messed it up. The trail and contours just never made sense to me. And then I just didn't have the mental energy to keep pushing after that and really just walked the rest of the course rather leisurely.
TNT - extended Indian loop. This was really hard - legs felt like rubber the whole way and I spent most of the time worrying about whether I would trip and fall.
