trail 35:14 [3]

Short hill loop before it got hot. Curiously, I felt pretty good, hills didn't seem that bad and I felt like I was pushing as hard as usual, but the time is a bit slower than recent ones. Perhaps because I went on an empty stomach? If it's tiredness from yesterday, I would have expected my legs to feel kinda dead and they didn't. Whatever.

map hiking 3:00:00 [3]

Total time in the woods: 5 hours. I was really slow today. And I only got about half of what I wanted done. But I knew if I kept going my knee was going to start being really painful so I called it a day and will go back another time.

Perhaps it's a good thing I haven't done anything about the CNYO rogaine. I don't seem to be in particularly good shape for it.

trail 53:53 [3]

TNT - extended Indian loop with Sandy. Going down to the drive by the horse stables and not just straight down Cathedral makes it a little easier on my knees and adds a little to the loop. Karl, Jose and Bob ran the loop and measured it (with Garmin or something equivalent). It's not quite 4 miles.
