I was thinking as I was doing this that my legs were toast and I was going slowly enough because my legs couldn't go any faster that my heart and lungs weren't the issue for a change. Which in a very weird way was actually a good feeling.

Four weeks ago I ran 36:06 for the same loop and was totally dismayed at how slow that was. :)

Lots of stretching and isolation type exercises. Followed by icing. I really should be better about icing - it makes such a difference.

Note

Back from Scotland and very busy trying to catch up with everything that needs doing. Had a great time but my knees are shot; still limping a bit four days after the last race. Really liked the fact that I got to orienteer in 6 very different venues though. Did reasonably well most days but had nothing left the last day which was definitely the most physically challenging.
