Hickory Run. There's such great woods there; too bad the start/finish options have to have an impact on courses.

All the snow is gone and while things weren't in full bloom there were places where a few things were starting to bud. Hopefully they'll open the gates soon so I can drive further in.

Note

Been feeling really, really tired all the time lately. Decided I'd better go see my doctor next week.

Note

An excellent TNT evening: dinner by Tom and special guest Ivar Helgesen who had some really interesting maps and pictures.

running 50:00 [3]

TNT - a good night.
Walked a couple laps until I felt woken up enough to start jogging.
Jogged a couple on the track feeling very creaky.
With daylight saving time, it was still light enough to see off the track, so ran a lap around all the fields - not sure how far that is, but it's at least a mile - which felt pretty good since the ground was very soggy, so soft.
Got back on the track and did several laps of hard on the straights easy on the curves and then finished with a couple of "ladders" - tried to take it up a notch for each 100 and then started over again after each lap.
Not a particularly organized workout but I'm sure it did some good and it was certainly better than the nap I could easily have done if we didn't have TNT to keep us going.

running 1:06:30 [3]

TNT - started with Sandy and after walking down to the drive (a little over 10 minutes) we slogged out a 10:23 mile, then walked a half mile, then did another mile in 9:45 (includes the short downhill half mile :) ). Sandy took it easy after that and I did three more halves at 5:14, 5:23 and 5:12. So I'm working at increasing distance and going faster and making slow progress on both fronts. Walked up the hill with Bob who also took it easy due to an injury.
