orienteering race 39:54 [3]

Score-O at Hibernia. 40 minute time limit. :)

Did okay and had fun.

map hiking 30:00 [1]

Control pick-up. Jogged a little but the bouncing pack with the controls and stands in it was uncomfortable so not too much.

hiking 1:00:00 [1]

Hilly route in the Wissahickon. Muscles sore on the uphills - guess Thursday's workout was good. Surprisingly short of breath on the uphills - guessing it's from giving blood yesterday since I didn't notice it last weekend at Ann's.

running 40:00 [3]

TNT - with Tom, Clem and Dasha

So after Dasha took out the first two laps a little too fast for me on a cold night when I wasn't warmed up and I had to slow it down for the next two, I decided two "fast", two slow was a reasonable workout. Splits:
4:54
5:08
4:36
5:20
4:37
5:24
and then a really fast one lap in 1:59 and walked the last lap. The rest of the 40 minutes is the initial jog to the track and the last walking lap. I count any time I'm moving! Not super fast times but I'm pleased with the workout since it was definitely more of a workout than I've managed the last several weeks.

running 1:02:54 [3]

TNT - with Karl, Sandy, Ben, Greg, Jim, Bob, Clem and Dasha.

Did 4 miles on the drive at about 10 minute pace plus the down and up.

Celebrated Karl's birthday afterwards.

Felt surprisingly good. Tromping through the snow at Ann's? Yoga class? Who knows. But it was nice to feel strong for a change.

Yoga/Pilates 1:00:00 [1]

Yay! The class has started again. Good stretches and lots of balances. I always feel so much peppier after class.
