Red course as White Clay Creek. One bad control. Original plan was to dogleg #5 and head back through #4 to #6. Should have stuck with the original plan; instead tried to get through some green and got totally tangled and then off course and then confused for a 10+ minute error. Almost quit I was so discouraged. The good news is that I collected myself and made myself run the entire rest of the course.
TNT - one year anniversary Saturday special edition.
Wyatt, Jim, Alison, John, Anne, Tom, Karl, Sandy, Clem, Dasha and me to run with Randy joining us for the post-run festivities. A quick three miles on the drive before it got too dark for me - others did longer; in true TNT fashion most everyone was a bit late but brought plenty of food for the post-run festivities. Excellent food, excellent company.
TNT - with Tom, Clem and Dasha. Ran around the track catching up with the newly minted Dr. Babushok for a while with no real plan and not taking splits listening to stories of her thesis defense and her first days back as a med student. After about half an hour of that, decided to go easy lap, hard lap three times. Decided I really didn't want to know how fast or slow I was going so didn't take splits. Knees felt much better during the fast laps - must do something different mechanically. If only my lungs could handle that pace for longer!
Note
Did a little stretching and walking afterwards. Then a super dinner from Tom. Have to convince him to get to more of these again!
TNT - with Karl and Jim. They did 5 while I did 4 since no one wanted to be out that long. I forgot to start my watch until after the first half mile though.

A bit of a guess on the time, it includes the jog down to the drive, the first half mile on the drive, the jog back home, and a little bit of stretching down on the drive while waiting for Jim. Very pleasant evening run.
The Wissahickon was pretty empty for such a balmy evening.
