Planned an O weekend in QOC land and while tempted a few times, did not wuss out in light of the cold temperatures. The plan was to do some training with Valerie at Prince William on Saturday afternoon, go out to dinner Saturday night with Valerie and Roger, and then run a course at the QOC Combat Village event on Sunday. Got a last minute request to help hang epunches on Saturday so Valerie and I did that instead of the training at PWF. We did 3 loops, the second one on our own doing two different clusters, the first and last together.

First loop: Forgot to start my watch until after hanging both controls on the loop.

Second loop: again, forgot to start the watch until both controls on the loop were hung, but then also forgot to stop it for a bit once in the car.

map hiking 1:38:37 intensity: (4:37 @1) + (17:27 @2) + (1:05:27 @3) + (11:06 @4) 2.88 mi (34:14 / mi) +67m 31:56 / mi
ahr:117 max:144

Third loop: spent a lot of time figuring out how to cross the creeks without getting our feet wet! Finally found a log to cross on the last one and Valerie found a place where she could jump across, but both landed us on an earth bank surrounded by prickers. Valerie took one for the team and forced a way through. Painful. Literally.
