Orienteering 1:42:45 [3] 13.88 km (7:24 / km) +515m 6:15 / km
shoes: Jalas O shoes

National Event - Cannock Chase M21E
Beaudesert

Had a reasonble run. Made quite a few mistakes early on. Then bown caught me during an indisticint moment on the way into 15. Then got a tow from the dr for a bit. After a swedish style marsh crossing after 18, my map resembled more like something you would use in the bathroom, rather than orienteering. So I couldn't read any contour detail. F**king waterproof maps.
Stopped to wash it on the way to 19, bone nearly got away. Then caught ed Nichols at 20, to form a wee pack. Then on the final push, I thought bown was holding it back. but failed to participate on the race to the line. Whoop whoop bet bown on the run in. Overall though he gave me a big boost, and is a quality orienteer.

Winner Richard robinsion 93.13. me +9.30
No GB squad took part, imagine they would go ~ 10 mins quicker.
Jonny crickmore had a storming run, and kept it up over the distance, one to watch at JWOC (for the next 4 years!)

Strength 40:00 [4]

BOK Circuits, good session (as akhillhes, mark2 and moi organised it), but not that many turned up. Not feeling 100 %, noticeable on breathing at times. Hope I'm right for sunday.

Run 37:00 [3]
shoes: Roclite 315

Lunchtime short loop, but through the trees along ridge, where the nettles have now died down, which was nice.
Felt like i might be coming down with something.

Run 55:40 [3] 10.5 km (5:18 / km)
shoes: Roclite 315

Lunch time run with Pete. Normal blaise run, felt good, nice relaxed pace, and a fair bit of chatting.
