Loughrigg Brown Course.
Left achilles is trashed after hard track running at the British and JK etc. I have tried to keep it in check but this mainly meant me de-training between weekends. This has to stop.

Decided last night that enough is enough. Achilles rehab will take priority for a few weeks.

So, I collected my map, walked a few of the early controls and made my way back. The area looked beautiful, wouldn't be the same if I was gutting myself though :-)

Blakeholme Middle Race.
The best terrain. Great course, I just couldn't get into the map though. A sizable miss at 3 and 11 and lacking fitness after 10 days of ice-cream holiday. Still, 2nd best area this year so far (after Craig Mich SOL 2).

JK Relays 2022
Senior Men's Race. Rog did a great job coming home just behind Barrable for SYO, I went out in chase of M55 winner Bill Edwards. Of course I didn't quite catch him and he increased the margin to over a minute by the end. Happy with that. Will was about the same time down at the spectator control (behind Andy Preston) so we're were resigned to 2nd place only to see Will turn into the arena in 1st place for a joyous team run into the finish! Whoop, whoop ! Turns out Andy P made a small mistake right near the end and it was enough for Will to surge ahead. Top Bro !!!
