GG Alva uphill test run 2.

Nice day, cool but sunny. Light breeze. Indian food last night wasn't the best preparation. Happy with the run, but HR was much lower than expected (last measured anaerobic threshold was at 165). Felt damn awful in the last 2 minutes, but I guess that was partly the curry, and partly to be expected at the end of a maximal test!

Happy with the new pb, but a big chunk must be familiarity with the route.

WU and CD. It was a nice day, so after the TT I ran to the top of Bens Buck, Cleuch and Ever on the way down. Nice idea, but the tops were in cloud so no nice pictures today....

Feeling so much more alive today than the last couple of days. Glorious weather too (although dark for this run).

18 holes at Kings Park - missed out the 14th again, but now I know where it is - it is only about 60m long!

Long run round Surrey Hill Race course. Tried out a few different variations - nothing that is particularly better or worse. Was knackered after last night, and this is a tough route, but I was closer to my race time than expected. Muddy, but not as bad as I was expecting too.

British Night Champs at Pippingford Park. Decent race, apart from a 1:20 miss at the 4th control. Otherwise a couple of bananas but fairly ok. Really enjoyed the terrain and the course, even if it was a bit soggy in places!

Jarred my ankle a bit on wednesday night which stopped me doing my running drills yesterday - still a bit stiff, hopefully ok tomorrow.
