Recovery day. Slow, felt slugglyish.

Skate Ski (Craftsbury) 2:06:00 [3] 20.44 km (6:10 / km) +273m 5:47 / km

Thin, hard packed cover. Glad for rock skis. About 3 km rolled. Had UVM doing a time trial, plus Dartmouth and Middlebury teams there, too. So kind of crowded, but worked out okay.

Felt really good doing V1 quick up the hills in the morning, but later on didn't have the snap. Maybe I was tired, or maybe the grass starting to poke thru was killing the glide. Did a bunch of 30 sec drills on one of the back trails: double pole, no pole, single stick. Bumpy hard pack was a challenge for balance as speed picked up on the flats with V2 and V2alt.

Good day, ran into Adrian and Alison getting snow time.

Roller skiing (Rte 11) 1:10:00 [3] 8.6 mi (8:08 / mi)
weight:159lbs

No garmin, no watch. Usual technique drills up the grade. Slower strokes with more power.

Roller skiing (Ball Mtn Dam) 1:10:00 [2] 6.72 mi (10:25 / mi) +84m 10:02 / mi

Specific strength workout with Alex. Late afternoon into black dark. Nice access road with blocked off to traffic. Good workout with pushes on hills.
6 PM

Strength 40:00 [3]

Arms, legs, core
Pullups 3 x 8
Easy pace on this, stretched out over changing tubes on two V2 wheels.

Road Running (Chester) 50:34 [3] 6.0 mi (8:26 / mi) +120m 7:56 / mi
weight:160lbs

Moved out at a good pace. Want to get this down under 8 min pace, but legs tired from weekend. However, was pushing and not just lazing along.
