Various warm ups/cool downs, some in the dark.

Roller skiing race (Rollerski-O Middle Champs) 28:41 [4] 3.82 mi (7:31 / mi) +1m 7:30 / mi
shoes: V2 Aero

Bike path, commercial area, back streets of Northampton. Used V2 Aeros to good effect on the lumpy pavement. Pretty clean except for a couple minor bobbles (20 sec each), and a major screwup at end where I tried to cut back to bike path via side street. Road was unfortunately a dead end and I had to double back for a 1:40 loss.
Fun area and good challenge.

Roller skiing hills (Mt Sugarloaf ) 14:20 [5] 0.97 mi (14:47 / mi) +140m 10:12 / mi

US Rollerskiing Sprint Champs, or rather hill climb champs. Straight up Sugarloaf, all up except for a reputed 150'.
Also questionaire on the fly, which most of us seemed to flub.

Pretty good run with a couple hard legs. Cornfused at times, but happy to discover the signs with letters identifying my location. Great addition to orienteering: you-are-here signs.

O - competition race 5:20 [4] 0.4 mi (13:20 / mi)

Sprint. This was crummy. Got stuck in the forehead going to 1 and had to backtrack. Then kind of messing around looking for P and R. Didn't figure out grid spacing until later; this would have been a big help.
