Note
(sick) (rest day)

still have a fever - down to about 101 - so had a very relaxing day

some stiffness today, getting in a car for a 8 hour drive right after the billygoat was not the best plan - but at least it was a 3 car wait at the border this time

my poppies finally bloomed

11 AM

orienteering race 4:46:31 [4] 14.25 km (20:06 / km)

garmin strack starts somewhere around control 3 - was set for every second recording - dunh!

So, i woke up in the morning with a high fever (just below 102) and debated the wisdom of orienteering when not thinking clearly to start. Decided that after the very long drive, Ii wasn't going to miss it. If
I couldn't function that would be obvious pretty early on.
Thinking was no worse than usual, but i didn't have any energy. Did, however, have a lot of fun.

Note
(rest day)

travel day - looong drive down for billygoat with 3 hour wait at the border

arrived at 8, had dinner with Michael and Laura, then to hotel and sleep. very glad we had made dinner plans or i probably would just have chosen sleep despite knowing i really needed some food in me

boot camp 1:00:00 [4]

last session :( very intense, great fun. we're trying to figure out how to get another series of sessions without canceling soccer practices

ball hockey intervals 1:00:00 [4]

My partner had never played defense before and wasn't much of a runner, so I did a LOT of running covering for her. Had a lot of fun.

stretching/strength warm up/down 5:00 [0]

8 PM

boxercise 1:00:00 [3]

45 minutes between ball hockey and boxercise, so it was a lot more work than usual.
