Orienteering (JUKOLA) 1:58:34 [5] *** 10.0 km (11:51 / km)
20c shoes: VJ Integrator

I was hoping they don't make me run the 1st leg again, but didn't say anything, so I was running it again. Well, the good side is, that I knew when to start. A mass start with 1,600 other runners. Once I opened the map I understood my guess was correct: the first leg of 4 K's. At the beginning steep cliffs and uphills made a long line. No problems with the 1st control, so a good start even I hate long legs even in Jukola. The ground was quite hard to run and quite green forest so there was not any sense to start to rush. I just wanted to avoid any mistakes. That was great for me today. Totally I had some 5 minutes mistakes in the whole course, mostly checking the wrong forking, but nothing serious. There was about 2 K's left when we visited the TC and started climbing back to the hills. That was a little bit too much for me and slowed me down. Also, the worst mistake, about 2 minutes, was there, when there was a big bag of runners looking for a boulder about 100 meters off. The last K was quite easy and even I didn't hit my target of 1,000th place, I was satisfied with my run in this rough area. My route
