Good thing this was a warm up. Absolute disaster gear wise but got everything sorted by then end so no big deal.

Early morning ride up and down the Goat Hill track from Okiwi Bay. Good fun. Lovely sunny still morning.

Back to chch in the afternoon via Pelorus and Kaikoura for more summer fun.

Pretty gutted I didnt get to ride any of the other tracks in the area but as none of the others were super keen to do anything I will just have to come back with some fitter friends.

Sea kayaking with the crew from Okiwi out into Squally Cove a bit. Just cruising along enjoying the wonderful sun. Lots of stops for swimming, snacking and fishing.

Not sure of the time this actually took, but it was longer than expected! 50/50 sealed/gravel road ride from Okiwi out to French Pass early in the morning.

The other guys drove out to meet me at French Pass for lunch, swimming and some fishing. Plan was to ride back as well but I was a bit cold after the swim so I opted for the car ride instead.
