Lagoon Saddle-Cass Saddle with Tane and Greig. A very nice day to be in the mountains and a nice run.

Started off nice and easy up the first hill and kept a reasonably good pace (for me anyway) through to Hamilton Hut. I was determined to run at a pace that I could sustain for the whole run. Hit the wall a bit just before the Hut so after a nice break headed off before the boys to plod along for awhile. I must have been plodding faster than I thought though, because when they finally caught me they thought I was throwing a hissy fit and trying to ditch them. Most amusing.

Was feeling very pathetic up to Cass Saddle but thanks to some delicious Meal Mates from Greig at the summit was able to run the last 10km comfortably (with a little help of gravity).

Left knee was a bit sore most of the way, just a wee niggle. Might be time for some new shoes.

Was planning on a nice long run after structures test in the evening but had a bit of a headache from the test and it just got worse so I didnt get very far. Blob on the couch instead.

Easy run into hagley to free the brain from uni. Had to stop and stretch a few times to get the legs out of rogaine shuffle mode but definately feel better post run. Right knee a little sore.
