Tramping 2:00:00 [1]

A nice few days around mt somers with some friends. Pretty easy going, just nice to get away from ChCh. Summit attempt was impossible due to amazingly strong winds! Scary to even move my feet at some points.

Run 30:00 [3]

Short recovery type run in the wonderful spring sunshine.

Run intervals 57:49 [4] 13.0 km (4:27 / km)

Intervals along the river with matt, la, tane and carsten. Bit of a jog to warm up (definately needed this today) then 5x3min with 1:30 rests. Wasnt feeling extremely fast but made it through ok. It was good to run intervals with others again, it was like being back in Sweden. A bit of a long run back along the river for me but luckily lots of yummy food to greet us.

Orienteering 1:22:14 [4] 10.6 km (7:45 / km)

A good use of McCleans island, first time I had run on the new part of the map. Something special this area, you can count the contours on this map (2.5m interval) on one hand. Navigated well just got dominated by the distance and monotony of it all.

MTBO 1:01:00 [3]

After a good lunch headed out on 1hr score event. Didnt really plan very well and I think my legs were a bit shattered. Got rather angry with all the large gravel on the tracks.
