Luckily not to far to go so lostmaybe 1:45. Qualified for the finalwith a 9th in my heat. Stoked but theres no way I can properly race the final

Run warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Orienteering 42:22 [4] 5.0 km (8:28 / km)

25manna training/test with the controls from the race I missed in the weekend. Nice terrain, very similar to parts of the rogaine actually. Missed a bit on two but pretty clean. Feet still sore but taping and oshoes seems to be comfortable enough. A little sniffly aswell.

Rogaine 11:46:00 [3]

Stopped for a feed just after midnight. Changed my shoes, retaped my feet and got same painkillers down. We headed out unsure how much my feet could handel. However the stop and fix at just the right time seemed to help and we managed to keep going steadily thorugh the night clocking up points. I felt really good all night, which was a surprise. We met Dennis and Chris at some point in the morning and scored some nurofen, the only kiwi team we saw the whole time. From about 5 in the morning onwards was horrible for me, feet hurt and I was half asleep, I could feel my cold returning with force and stopped eating so much, luckily the NE corner where we were was so covered with elephant tracks, navigation was very easy. A small blunder in the forest in the last hour cost us a 6 pointer but all in all a solid race to take out XJ and 2nd Junior team.
