Tried to repeat last week's long training, so I ran from Burudvann, over Tjæregrasshøgda, Brunkollen, Stein, and back to Valler. Decent focus for the first 75 minutes, but found it tougher to focus on the second half. Saw a moose at the northern end of the map.

Any alternatives to #1?

Ribbe og Loff sprint race at Fagerborg. Tried to push the pace out of the start. Had a hard time getting into a good rhythm with good flow today, and ran awkwardly to #2 and #3. On my way to #2 I couldn't tell if the retaining wall along the sidewall was an impassable wall or a passable forest cliff (thinner black line), because I couldn't tell if the line was thick enough. At first I thought it was impassable, but then when I was running out of #8 I noticed it was only a meter high, so I changed my mind thinking it was a forest cliff and jumped down it (which was the big confusion at NAOC 06). Turns out it was impassable, though I didn't really save any time.

Fun to run on yet another nice map by Sentrum OK. Just being off my game a little bit placed me quite a ways behind in the results. Results.

Ran with o-shoes, I think it was a good choice today, slightly icy paths, and a fair bit of steep hills on grass.

Ås by night, in the nicest terrain in the Oslo vicinity. Didn't respect the difficult vague area near #1 and lost 5 minutes. Slowed down and ran a lot more carefully after that. A few more 1 min mistakes, but mostly good. Starting to get the hang of this. A bit far behind today. Results.

8x4 minute intervals on trails with Nydalen, including 3xAnders, Mathias, Louise, Lars Christian, Halvor, Daniel and a handful of girls. Legs feeling ok after yesterday. Had some bowel problems in the middle, so stopped and swapped my light with Louise since hers was dying. Got better, and was ok running as long as I had a light behind me.
