Running 54:56 [3] 11.7 km (4:42 / km)
shoes: Mizuno WR 2009

Morning run with Boulder road runners. Easy first 3k, then got in a group with 2 others an pushed 4min/km the rest of the way. Conveniently they start the run 100m from where I live. Ran on some country roads, nice views. Nice day.

Note

A hike with Luca from Bear Lake up towards Flattop Mountain (3750m). We were going to go to the top, but about 2/3 up at about 3400m elevation a rain storm moved in, so we pulled a Sarah Palin.

Running race 10:03 [5] 3.0 km (3:21 / km)
shoes: Henrik's AdiZero

My first track race! An allcomers meet in Boulder with various distances. I was aiming for a 9:20 but after two laps the pace was impossible for me to keep. A lack of speedwork the last few months maybe -- in November I was doing the same time when doing 3 x 3k intervals with very little effort. Time to get back into some speed-shape :)

A fun event, with quite a lot of people. 5000m, or mile at the next one in two weeks time.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2] 3.5 km (5:43 / km)
shoes: Mizuno WR 2009

Running 1:20:10 [3] 14.64 km (5:29 / km) +500m 4:41 / km
shoes: Mizuno WR 2009

Hilly run from home. About half road, half gravel trails. Down Iris, up the hill to Sanitas valley, down the valley, and over to the end of Pearl street. Same way back. Ran reasonably hard.

Note

oh my fellow countrymen are so funny some times (read terrain description carefully :) It sure seems like it would be some interesting orienteering!
