Note

While chopping wood late this morning i thought of all the awesome things i had done and yummy food i had eaten in the previous 28 hours and then thought about last weekend and racing for that period of time. So when i do that comparison it is easy to think that 24 hour adventure races seem kinda silly and maybe even stupid. So then why can’t i wait to do wilderness traverse next year? It isn’t the huge anticipation like i get with orienteering races and summer paddling but i’m already scheming on how i can improve my training. Not sure why. perhaps it is because I now know i can do it when taking it relativey easy and now i want to try to go a little faster. Dunno.

I told Bob i would race WT again if he fixed my only complaint - the race doesn’t cost enough.

Running 1:05:00 [3]

Ouch this hurt.Knee is still sore from the allergic reaction and WT. Made the right decision to skip Ontario Champs. It would have been a suffer fest.

CIL with AG! I was about to take a commanding lead with the falling leaf catching while on the run contest but Emma body checked me and then kicked me when I was down. Harsh.
