Run 5:03:30 [3] 9.2 km (32:59 / km) +900m 22:09 / km
shoes: Salomon Speedcross

Tryfan, Glyder Fach and Y Gribin.
Hard work, either scrambling up, or scrambling down. Spotting the path was interesting and there was certainly some freestyle nav!
Not alot of running, maybe 200m or so?!?!

Run 1:17:50 [3] 11.5 km (6:46 / km) +100m 6:29 / km
shoes: Salomon Speedcross

Post dentist, took the opportunity of the White Peak.
Plan had been to go Milldale to Hartington via Wolfscote Dale & back via Biggin Dale.
Got to norternmost point of run, looked for phone and couldn't find it. Thought it must have been dropped out of pack - had last used it 2km earlier - so turned and ran back looking for it and asking any walkers and fisherman I saw. Got back to Gipsy Bank Bridge, checked my pack properly and there it was :(
Was persisting with drizzle by then, so just headed back to the car. Was easier on the way back than on the way out, even with a more-ore less non-existant gradient.

Run 31:31 [3] 5.0 km (6:18 / km)
shoes: Salomon Speedcross

Circuit of Brindley anti-clockwise with Mary after missing the start of the run - the big boys were disappearing into the distance and were uncatchable by a stomach full of doughnuts.

Legs tired - calves and hamstrings, mostly.

Event: CROESO 2016

Orienteering 1:12:33 [3] 5.0 km (14:31 / km)
shoes: VJ Bold

Drove past this area so many times and great to actually get to run on it.
No 3!! Aaaargh!! Got ahead of myself and started looking a thicket too early. Relocated (after way too long of knowing the map didn't fit), then thought I was going between the white and green, not around the white (compass?!?!) so again looking in the wrong block before seeing the lake and working out what had happened.
No 5 was hesitant, didn't go far enough, didn't think about bouncing back when I could see the flat beyond, and when I found the control, the reentrant felt like it was going the other way to what I was expecting.
After that was clean, but looking over my shoulder for Gemma, phew ;)
So, a good 11 minutes lost, legs that were tired (we walked miles around Cardiff after the Parkrun and still snuck into the top half of the results on 40L :)

Run race 28:55 [4] 5.0 km (5:47 / km)
shoes: Hoka Clifton 2

Cardiff Parkrun. Overtaking people right until the finish - next time need to start much closer to the front! Hopefully I got ahead if all the fat bottomed women who were running like fairies, but I did get passed by 4 or 5 pushchairs...
