Orienteering race 1:14:50 [3] 4.1 km (18:15 / km) +150m 15:26 / km
shoes: VJ Bold

British Middles, Leith Hill.
Frustrating - quite happy with the first half, steady, minimised mistakes and was moving ok. Hit the "easy" bit and lost confidence with bearings and was easily distracted by anyone and everyone and lost 14 minutes on 16, 17 & 21.
Still wouldn't have made the podium, but would have been much, much happier with the result.
Ho hum.

British Sprints Qualifier.
Very, very straightforward, but still managed to make a mahoosive time loss after I just switched off.
Luckily made it into the A final.

shoes: Hoka Clifton 2

British Sprints A Final.
More technical first half that needed planning ahead, and I'm happy with all my routes I think.
9th, and closer than usual to the podium finishers, couldn't have done any better today.
Didn't spend much time taking in the view, and it was wet, wet, wet.

Sprint training in Beacon Park.
Legs surprisingly sprightly with some 5min/km running in there. Hopefully will be feeling bouncy by the weekend :)
Garmin not exactly accurate - managed to add me an extra 500m or so (very fast!!).
