Cycling 26:00 [3] 11.2 km (2:19 / km)
So psyched they have a gym up at the telescope!! Not that a stationary bike is the most thrilling form of exercise. In fact, it's right near the bottom of my list, I think. But right now, with the injured heel, it's something I can do. So did 25 minutes, at a good effort, with a sprint at the end, then a minute of wind-down.
It was impressivley hard work, cycling in real terrain you always have down hills...
Strength 15:00 [1]
10 min abs
2 min back
2 min side plank
1 min push ups - 7 real, rest on knees
Abs hurt from the start- some lactic acid build up from the cycling immediately before.
Listened to Spanish radio, such a fast language!
Note
Just wanted to record that I'm very committed to getting my foot better. I was looking into making the event calendar for OUOC this afternoon, and I realized how bummed I would be if I couldn't race this fall because of my foot. So I'm going to stay off of it until it's better, and definitely see someone when I get back to Oxford if I'm not confident it will heal completely on it's own.
Thumb is getting better for sure, on a happy note. I can now turn keys in locks with my right hand!
