Strength 45:00 [1]

Sylvia had her 1 year appointment this morning, which meant lots of shots. Expectedly, she was not pleased... Her head is now officially big enough for her bike helmet, so that's good since we've been using it for the past two or three weeks!

And got to lunch Pilates. Good stuffs.

Note

Holy moly. Took 19 students on a camping-observing field trip to Bend (3.5 hr drive away). Lots and lots of logistics, telescope setting up, van renting, meal planning + shopping, etc. So grateful to the bio prof who loaned the double burner propane stove, table, and big pots + pans! (He takes lots of field trips for field work with his students.)

And... it all worked! They got data, some of them camped for the 1st time in their lives, they were all graciously helpful with meal prep and clean up, and I snuck in just enough sleep to drive the van safely back home (also: coffee). Sylvia wasn't super keen on mommy being in and out of the tent all night helping the students observe + napping, but she made it with some significant daddy-snuggle time.

Note

Weekend trip across the country and back with the babe. Sooo much squirm on the flights... but finally got to visit Mount Desert Island/Acadia national park, which somehow I'd never visited before. Was beautiful! All for Tom's cousin's wedding.
