Frikken epic. Totally shagged by the first control. Made a big error off the top of the hill going to the big rock at 3. Enjoyed the technical bit around 5,6,7 and then a massive 180 at 7 where I ran almost to the edge of oblivion before circling back to 8 (where's the water on this course?). Couldn't see any route choice that didn't involve climbing a mountain to 9 so just went over the top. Then a slightly lesser mountain to 11 (tried to avoid the people packing up the start.Then a really strange thing going to 13, approaching the rail line I must have told myself mentally that we weren't meant to cross it (or all the safety training I get at work) and went back the way I had come in a big circle. By 14 I was starting to see bones that looked like human skeltons on the ground and stumbled into the finish just before the 3 hour cut-off time.
