Most interesting thing on this walk was the gates at the old medical college/private school with a bit of a 'Tomb Raider' theme

6:30 to first control..actually lost contact in a parkland building setting! SHITE. Let team down..Got beaten by Lummo and nearly DickO! Flat tyre on way home..Might do a Watto..or join Ryan the Lion!

Local Event at Mosman. Controls on tracks. 16 was interiesting scaling a weedy cliff to get there. Felt good running.

Don't feel as shattered after Easter this year as I normally do (i.e I can still walk), which means I didn't try hard enough??. Got to work out a way I can get to a competitive level in M40. Much more training in order I guess. This would involve giving up uni, work and family..probably not realisitic..

Once again blew 1 and felt ok from there but slow. others on my course were catching me by 6(Ant) and 7(Hoggster and acejase) Spent until control 11 wondering what it must have been like growing up with orienteering as you sport instead of the combative sports I played as a teenager. Forgot to speed up near the end and mucked up 14. Finished a good 15 mins off the pace.
