Note

Figured out I have to leave work at stupid-early o'clock to get to Castle Hill for today's sprint and then get a Zone 3 ticket?? maybe haven't worked out how the zone system applies to the yellow buses yet. Probably give it a miss and wait until the NWRL is finished before venturing to 'The Hills' again.

Orienteering (Sydney Sprints) 25:48 [3] *** 3.2 km (8:04 / km)
weight:88kg

After an epic bus ride through Legoland had a run on a surprisingly good map. well set course. very enjoyable. got confused a bit in the track network.

Orienteering 45:00 [3]

Putting out SI Units and controls. had to wait until the Mini-bikes had packed up to put controls in the minibike area. wasn't expecting them to be there. Got that sinking feeling walking over to put SI units out. Sprint turned out to be too long with winning time ~20mins . I think that the length was OK, but just too much climb for that length. Fun watching which route choice people took to 1. Not sure that there was much difference judging by the splits. andyhill & Shingo went left. That man Jock, Greg and undy went right. Some interesting questions, like what doe sthe description man-made object stand for?
